Former MK Oren Hazan Warns New Right-Wing Party Could Undermine Right-Wing Rule
Former Knesset member Oren Hazan has criticized the formation of a new political party composed of former Likud members and other right-wing figures, including Gilad Erdan, Yuli Edelstein, and Ayelet Shaked. In an interview with the Knesset Channel, Hazan expressed his belief that this new party has no chance of passing the electoral threshold and accused its members of being "party defectors" attempting a political maneuver to secure future jobs. He warned that their actions cause significant damage and threaten the stability of the right-wing government.
Hazan further urged these politicians, whom he described as primarily interested in holding office, to leave the political arena. He advised that elections are a collective event requiring participation in a strong, established group rather than last-minute attempts to gather votes. He concluded by appealing to them not to embarrass themselves or harm what remains of the right-wing in Israel.
