Israeli Forces Arrest Hamas Supporter in Jericho Seizing Weapons and Propaganda

Israeli police and military forces conducted a joint operation in Jericho resulting in the arrest of a Hamas supporter in his 50s. The arrest was carried out based on intelligence guidance from the Yalp unit police officers in the Gilad area, with fighters from the Jordan Lions Battalion executing the targeted operation. During the search, authorities confiscated an M-16 rifle, multiple communication devices, and a Hamas poster featuring flags and glorifying Ahmad Hamidat, a terrorist who carried out an attack in 2024 and was neutralized. The suspect was transferred for interrogation at the Beqaa station in the Judea and Samaria district.
