Police Arrest Four Suspects in Umm al-Fahm Murder Case After Crime Scene Tampering

Israeli police arrested four residents of Umm al-Fahm on Sunday morning on suspicion of involvement in a shooting that resulted in one man's death and another's moderate injury. The incident occurred in the early hours when emergency services received reports of gunfire targeting two men in the city. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived to find both victims inside a vehicle; one was unconscious with severe penetrating wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was treated and taken to the hospital.

Senior MDA paramedics Yosef Gabarin and Salim Saad described the scene, noting the critical condition of the deceased victim upon their arrival. Police forces, including forensic teams, responded promptly to collect evidence and investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

However, authorities revealed that before their arrival, the crime scene had been tampered with and washed, likely to destroy evidence. The police emphasized their commitment to locating all individuals involved in the murder and those who obstructed the investigation. Umm al-Fahm is an Arab city in northern Israel, and the case remains under active investigation.
