Two Young Antisemites Sentenced for Harassing Jews in London’s Stamford Hill

Two 21-year-old men, Adam Badawi and Abdelkader Bouslov, received suspended six-week prison sentences and a one-year probation for targeting Jews in London’s Stamford Hill neighborhood. The pair deliberately went to the ultra-Orthodox area armed with fishing rods as part of a disturbing scheme they called "fishing" for Jews. They harassed a Haredi man on the street, recording antisemitic videos which they shared on social media.

In addition to the suspended sentences, the court ordered them to complete 150 hours of unpaid community service, attend a 20-day rehabilitation program, and pay £85 in court costs. Both men pleaded guilty to religiously aggravated harassment. Prosecutor Ravinder Heer condemned their actions, emphasizing the deliberate nature of the attack and the harm hate crimes cause to victims and communities.

The incident follows a similar episode in May 2026 when the two men verbally abused and filmed a Jewish man in the Clapton Common area, another predominantly Jewish neighborhood, intending to post the footage on TikTok. Detective Inspector Oliver Richter described the attack as a targeted antisemitic assault amplified by the perpetrators’ intent to spread hatred online, calling it completely unacceptable in London.
