Maccabi Haifa Stands to Gain Over €3 Million from Anan Khalaily Transfer

Belgian club Saint-Gilloise has raised its asking price for Anan Khalaily, currently with Inter, to 30 million euros. This follows an initial official offer of just over 20 million euros, which already exceeded a previous bid from Napoli. If Khalaily is sold for 30 million euros, Maccabi Haifa will receive a substantial sum of 3.25 million euros. This amount includes 10% of the future sale profit, estimated at 2.35 million euros, plus solidarity payments of 900,000 euros. Even if Khalaily is sold for 25 million euros, Haifa would still earn 2.6 million euros.

Such exit fees of over 3 million euros are rare in Israeli football. For comparison, Frantzedi Piero was sold to AEK Athens for 3.5 million euros, and Louizos Louizo's transfer brought Hapoel Tel Aviv 3 million euros from a 3.5 million euro deal. Overall, Maccabi Haifa could accumulate profits totaling approximately 9.75 million euros from Khalaily's transfers. This development highlights a significant financial opportunity for the Israeli club amid the ongoing transfer negotiations.
