Maccabi Haifa Stands to Gain Over €3 Million from Anan Khalaily Transfer
Belgian club Saint-Gilloise has raised its asking price for Anan Khalaily, currently with Inter, to 30 million euros. This follows an initial official offer of just over 20 million euros, which already exceeded a previous bid from Napoli. If the transfer completes at 30 million euros, Maccabi Haifa will receive a substantial payout of 3.25 million euros. This amount includes 10% of future sale profits, estimated at 2.35 million euros, plus solidarity payments of 900,000 euros. Even if Khalaily is sold for 25 million euros, Haifa would still earn 2.6 million euros.
Such exit fees are rare in Israeli football. For comparison, Frantzdy Pierrot was sold to AEK Athens for 3.5 million euros, and Louizos Louizo's transfer brought Hapoel Tel Aviv 3 million euros from a 3.5 million euro deal. Overall, Maccabi Haifa could accumulate a total profit of 9.75 million euros from Khalaily's career moves. This represents a significant financial gain for the club, highlighting the growing value of their player assets.
