Yossi Basaad, the trusted advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara, was publicly dismissed by the couple following an embarrassing incident at the opening ceremony of the 22nd Maccabiah Games. During the event, Sara Netanyahu shouted at Basaad, accusing him of stepping on her because she was not properly admitted to the VIP area.
