Israeli Youth Goalkeeper Joins Juventus Youth Academy in Italy
Israeli goalkeeper Yoav Rivak, aged 16, has joined the youth academy of Juventus in Italy. Rivak previously played for the under-13 and under-14 teams of Maccabi Petah Tikva over the past two years and has made two appearances for Israel's under-16 national team. Alongside Rivak, Juventus also signed two other young talents: Louis Reynaud, born in 2008 from Toulouse, France, and Antoine Baidets, also born in 2008 from Maastricht, Netherlands. This move reflects a growing trend of young players transferring to European youth academies to develop their skills and gain exposure on bigger stages.
