Israeli Goalkeeper Joins Juventus Youth Team in Surprising Move
Israeli goalkeeper Yoav Rivk, aged 16, has joined the youth ranks of Juventus in Italy. Rivk previously played for the under-13 and under-14 teams of Maccabi Petah Tikva over the past two years and has made two appearances for Israel's under-16 national team. This transfer is part of a growing trend of young Israeli players moving abroad to advance their careers and showcase their talents on bigger stages. Alongside Rivk, Juventus also signed two other young prospects: Louis Reynaud, born in 2008 from Toulouse, France, and Antoine Baidets, also born in 2008, from Maastricht, Netherlands. The move highlights Juventus's focus on recruiting promising youth talent from across Europe.
