Bayern Munich Plans to Keep Michael Olise Amid Mbappe's Push for Real Madrid Move

Following reports from Spain that Kylian Mbappe is pressuring his French national teammate Michael Olise to join Real Madrid, Bayern Munich is preparing a response. According to the Spanish sports show El Chiringuito, the French captain is encouraging Olise to transfer to Santiago Bernabeu. This has prompted Olise to plan a meeting with Bayern officials after the World Cup to discuss his future.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has identified Olise as a potential major signing after his recent re-election, with Spanish media reporting that the club is ready to offer 220 million euros for the 24-year-old. However, Bayern Munich, the German champions, are reportedly unwilling to sell Olise this summer. They intend to present him with an improved contract to secure his stay, two years after acquiring him from Crystal Palace for 53 million euros. Olise's current contract runs until summer 2029.

This season, Olise has scored 15 goals and provided 21 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances. In the Champions League, he has contributed five goals and seven assists across 13 matches.
