Russian Missile and Drone Attack on Kyiv Kills 21, Injures Over 90
The death toll from Russia's overnight missile and drone assault on Kyiv has risen to 21, with more than 90 people wounded. The Kremlin described the attack as retaliation for Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy facilities and refineries. Kyiv authorities reported that approximately 130 buildings were damaged in what is considered one of the most extensive attacks since the war began. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 74 missiles and 496 drones during the night, most targeting the capital city of Kyiv.
