IDF Chief Warns of Rapid Escalation Risk, Highlights Iran as Top Security Threat

During a strategic situation assessment held on Thursday, IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir delivered a comprehensive and concerning briefing on Israel's current security landscape. He unequivocally identified the Islamic Republic of Iran as the primary and central target of Israel's defense efforts. Zamir did not rule out a swift return to active warfare, emphasizing the need for readiness across all fronts.
