Rabbi Ben Zion Abba Shaul Reveals Special Prayer for Salvation at Western Wall

Decades ago, Rabbi Shalom Hanania accompanied his uncle, Rabbi Ben Zion Abba Shaul, the revered head of Porat Yosef Yeshiva and author of the responsa "Or LeZion," to the Western Wall after midnight. This sacred site, symbolizing both the exile of the Divine Presence and the potential for spiritual illumination, was a place of profound significance for Rabbi Abba Shaul. As they approached, Rabbi Abba Shaul began an intense prayer, during which his face suddenly shone with a heavenly light, revealing a divine illumination. At that moment, he shared with Rabbi Hanania a powerful secret: a special prayer sequence capable of invoking salvation at any time.

Rabbi Hanania testifies that he has since used this prayer many times and witnessed great salvations. To honor Rabbi Abba Shaul’s yahrzeit on the 19th of Tammuz, Rabbi Hanania will lead a unique prayer event exclusively for donors to "Kupat Ha'Ir," the central charity fund trusted by Jewish leaders worldwide. Rabbi Hanania emphasizes the great spiritual merit of giving charity through Kupat Ha'Ir, as taught by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, and believes that combining this charity with the special prayer will bring significant blessings to all donors.

Following the prayer, Rabbi Hanania will sign a special certificate blessing donors with salvation, referencing the original revelation at the Western Wall and the merit of charity through Kupat Ha'Ir. The certificate includes a personal mention of each donor’s name to invoke great salvation swiftly through their charity and prayer. This initiative aims to unite the spiritual power of Rabbi Abba Shaul’s prayer with the transformative impact of charity for the benefit of all participants.
