Two Men Indicted for Violent Robbery of Woman Victimized by Telegram Loan Scam in Kiryat Gat
The Israeli prosecution has filed indictments against Aviv Hadad, 22, from Rosh HaAyin, and Yair Zamor, 20, from Elad, for violently robbing a young woman in Kiryat Gat. According to the indictment, the victim withdrew approximately 22,800 shekels from an ATM after falling prey to a loan scam conducted via Telegram. Zamor reportedly surveilled the woman and informed Hadad, who waited in a car nearby. After she left the bank branch, Hadad forcibly took the money from her pocket despite her resistance. The two then fled in a vehicle, with Hadad transferring about 2,450 shekels to Zamor from the stolen amount. Hadad was arrested the following day after a police chase in Yehud-Monosson.
