Israel Marks 1,000 Days Since Hamas Terror Attack with Military and Regional Gains

On June 29, 2026, Israel marked 1,000 days since the deadly Hamas terror attack on October 7, 2023, which triggered its longest and most complex war to date. Despite heavy human and economic costs, Israel has achieved significant military, regional, technological, and national milestones during this period.

Militarily, Israel has severely degraded terrorist organizations' capabilities by eliminating thousands of militants, including senior Hamas and Hezbollah figures, destroying extensive terror infrastructure, neutralizing attack tunnels and command centers, and curbing rocket and missile production and launches.
