Police Solve Basel Fraoni Murder in Nazareth, Three to Be Charged
Israeli police have solved the murder of Basel Fraoni, which took place last year at a car wash in Nazareth. Authorities announced that indictments will be filed against three suspects: a 21-year-old man from Jisr az-Zarqa, a 33-year-old man from Reineh, and an 18-year-old who was a minor at the time of the crime. The investigation revealed that the killing stemmed from a conflict between the Hariri and Bakri crime organizations. The three accused, affiliated with the Hariri group, arrived at the car wash and mistakenly identified Fraoni as the owner, who was the intended target of the assassination. Fraoni was pronounced dead at the scene, and another individual was moderately injured in the shooting. The prosecution plans to request detention of the suspects until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
