Hundreds of Ultra-Orthodox Protesters Disrupt Jerusalem Light Rail Construction

Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox protesters are disrupting construction work on the Jerusalem light rail line along Ben Illan Street. The protests oppose the routing of the rail line through this street. During the demonstrations, one protester was filmed entering the construction site and moving a concrete funnel while standing in the freshly poured concrete. Construction companies report that the damage caused by these protests has reached approximately 400 million shekels so far.
