Ofir Kriaf, the 35-year-old former Israeli footballer known for his time at Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa, has returned to Israeli football in a new role. After retiring from active play in March 2026, Kriaf was appointed as the professional manager of the youth department and football academy at Maccabi Kiryat Malakhi on July 1, 2026.
Kriaf had a distinguished playing career, notably captaining Beitar Jerusalem for six years and contributing to two State Cup victories in 2016 and 2023 with Beitar and Maccabi Haifa. His leadership and experience are expected to help develop local football talent in Kiryat Malakhi.
