Young Man Linked to Recent Murders Shot Dead at Bigor Shopping Center
A 21-year-old man, known to police and suspected of involvement in recent murders in northern Israel, was shot dead in his car at the Bigor shopping complex. Residents expressed shock and fear following the killing, which occurred on the first morning of the summer vacation. Dalit, who arrived at the scene near the time of the shooting, said, "A murder on the first morning of the summer break, luckily I came alone without the children. There is no security here for citizens." Another witness, Haim Ifergan, pointed to the bullet-riddled car and recalled a recent car explosion on a main street in Kiryat Haim, adding, "Look at the car, full of bullet holes everywhere. Yesterday a car exploded on a main street in Kiryat Haim, luckily no one else was hurt. It's like Mexico here in Bigor." The incident highlights ongoing security concerns in the area.
