IDF Warns Hamas Is Recruiting Youth, Producing Rockets, Preparing for Next Conflict

An internal IDF document reveals that Hamas is actively recruiting young people aged 18 to 22, referred to as the "Nehah Generation," and intensifying military training for its Nukhba units. The report, disclosed by Channel 13 on Tuesday, details Hamas's efforts to expand its military capabilities in Gaza, including the monthly production of hundreds of explosives and rockets. Additionally, Hamas is increasing smuggling operations into Gaza, bringing in drone parts and other equipment through various routes.

The document highlights the dissemination of operational plans in preparation for a potential renewed conflict with Israel. The IDF has observed advanced Hamas preparations, including the restoration of capabilities damaged during previous fighting. Concurrently, Israeli forces continue operations along the Gaza border buffer zone, known as the "Yellow Line," aimed at preventing terrorist groups from reestablishing positions near Israeli communities.

According to the report, no recent special political-level discussions have taken place regarding Gaza. The United States has communicated to Israel that there is currently no international legitimacy for a broad military operation in the Gaza Strip. The IDF remains vigilant as Hamas appears to be gearing up for another confrontation.
