Ukrainian Missiles Strike Major Russian Military Factory in Volgograd
Ukrainian forces launched an attack using FP-5 Flamingo missiles on the Russian military-industrial plant Titan-Brikadi in Volgograd, resulting in at least 10 injuries. Dramatic footage circulating on social media shows the missiles flying through the air before causing a powerful explosion and thick smoke rising from the facility.
Titan-Brikadi is one of Russia's largest defense factories, specializing in the development of missile launch systems, artillery systems, anti-tank missiles, and ship missiles. Since the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the plant has been subjected to heavy international sanctions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the strike, stating that the attack caused a fire at the large complex where military components and missiles used against Ukraine were developed.
