Emily Damari Opens Up About Joining HOT's 'Connected' Reality Show and Her Recovery Journey

The new season of HOT's documentary-reality show "Connected" premieres this week, featuring notable participants including reality star Einav Bublil, singer Moshe Kursia, Ortal Amar, Ben El Tavori, and former captive Emily Damari. Damari, who will share her rehabilitation and life after captivity on the show, attended the premiere on Tuesday alongside the other cast members. She discussed her decision to participate and reveal her personal story on camera, emphasizing that the project is a deeply meaningful and sensitive personal document for her.

Damari expressed no regrets about joining the show, stating, "I do what is good for me," and highlighted that her portrayal offers a more profound and sensitive perspective than typical interviews with former captives. She also mentioned that the camera accompanied her through all moments, both joyful and challenging. One particularly memorable scene involves her reflecting on a "ray of light" during her captivity by Hamas, which she believes will provide viewers with a new perspective on life.

Regarding her personal life, Damari revealed that she and her partner Daniel began filming about six months into their relationship. She also shared updates about their upcoming wedding, confirming preparations are underway with plans for traditional white attire. "Connected" will premiere on July 1 on HOT VOD and NEXT TV, with regular broadcasts starting July 5, Sunday through Tuesday at 19:35 on HOT Entertainment.
