Leumi Bank Opens New Branch in Beitar Illit with Advanced Customer Services
Leumi Bank inaugurated its new branch in the West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit, aimed at private customers and managed by Ita Sternfeld along with an experienced team of banking professionals. The branch also features a dedicated mortgage unit staffed by skilled mortgage bankers ready to assist clients throughout the loan process. The opening ceremony included senior Leumi officials such as Shira Razi, Head of Branches, Ilan Navon, Jerusalem and Shfela Area Manager, and Ita Sternfeld, the branch manager, alongside Beitar Illit's Mayor Meir Rubinstein and the city’s chief rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Steigletz, who affixed the mezuzah to the new premises.
This relocation is part of Leumi's broader rebranding strategy, moving branches into shopping centers or office buildings to enhance customer experience with professional and personalized service. The branch includes a digital lobby enabling customers to perform most common banking transactions 24/7 at reduced costs. Shira Razi emphasized the bank's commitment to placing customer financial needs at the center of its operations, promising improved and accessible banking services for the local community.
Leumi Bank has recently implemented several innovative service measures, including extending call center hours to 24/7 (excluding Sabbaths and holidays), direct WhatsApp communication with branch managers, a commitment to resolve all inquiries within one business day, and the creation of a "CEO Patrol" team that handles unresolved customer issues promptly. These initiatives reflect Leumi's ongoing efforts to provide convenient, advanced, and customer-focused banking solutions.
