Netanyahu and Gadi Eizenkot Gain Support as Bennett Faces Decline in New Mandate Poll
A new mandate poll released Monday evening by Channel 12 News shows a slight increase in support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gadi Eizenkot, while Naftali Bennett experiences a minor decline. According to the poll, Netanyahu's Likud party holds 24 mandates, up by one from the previous survey. Eizenkot's faction also rises by one mandate to 22. The joint list of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid stands at 17 mandates. Other parties include the Democrats led by Yair Golan with 10 mandates, Shas and Yisrael Beiteinu each with 9 mandates, Otzma Yehudit with 8, United Torah Judaism with 7, Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am both with 5 mandates. Smotrich's party gains 4 mandates, while Benny Gantz and Huldai fail to cross the electoral threshold.
The coalition bloc totals 52 mandates, the opposition holds 58, and Arab parties collectively have 10 mandates. In response to recent developments in his trial, Netanyahu stated, "There will be nothing, because there is nothing," dismissing the allegations against him.
