M.S. Ashdod Signs Max Greczkin and Razi Abu Hamdan Ahead of National League Campaign

Following its relegation to the Israeli National League, M.S. Ashdod is actively strengthening its squad to secure a swift return to the Premier League. On June 29, 2026, the club officially announced the signings of two key players: experienced defender Max Greczkin and standout goalkeeper Razi Abu Hamdan from Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Max Greczkin, 30, who played last season for Bnei Sakhnin and has prior experience with several Premier League teams, expressed enthusiasm about joining Ashdod. He stated, "I am happy to take on the new challenge here in Ashdod. With the experience I have gained throughout my career, I will help the team have a successful season and achieve our main goal."

Razi Abu Hamdan joins after several impressive seasons with Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he was one of the top goalkeepers in the National League and served as team captain in his last season. He maintained the best clean sheet record in the league. Upon signing, Abu Hamdan said, "I am very happy to come to Ashdod.
