Left-Back Li-On Mizrahi Joins Hapoel Jerusalem for Upcoming Season
Li-On Mizrahi, the 23-year-old left-back and son of legendary Beitar Jerusalem player Eitan Mizrahi, has officially signed with Hapoel Jerusalem for the upcoming season. Mizrahi, who grew up in Beitar Jerusalem's youth system, made his senior debut with Hapoel Tel Aviv before returning to Beitar in 2022, where he played three seasons, appearing in 59 league matches and scoring twice.
In September 2025, Mizrahi was transferred to Maccabi Netanya on a two-year contract for 300,000 shekels. However, he was released by Netanya this summer and has now moved across the city to join Hapoel Jerusalem, coached by Lior Zada. The contract includes an option to extend for an additional season.
This transfer marks Mizrahi's return to Jerusalem, but this time to the city's rival club, signaling a new chapter in his career as he prepares to compete in the Israeli Premier League with Hapoel Jerusalem.
