Israeli Border Police Honor Fallen Officer Kim Dokraker With New Mikveh and Memorial Run on Her 25th Birthday

On the 25th birthday of Border Police officer Kim Dokraker, who was killed in a terror attack on October 7, a new mikveh was inaugurated in her memory alongside a commemorative run. The event, held yesterday, brought together dozens of Border Police fighters from the central region, officers, commanders, family members, friends, rabbis, public officials, and representatives from local authorities. The mikveh was established through the "Remember Forever" organization and built by the National Center for Family Purity in cooperation with the Ministry of Religious Services and Dokraker's family. An old building was renovated and converted into the mikveh to serve local women.

Kim Dokraker served in the Border Police and was credited with neutralizing a terrorist and preventing an attack. During the terror assault on a nightclub on October 7, she chose to stay with her comrades during the crisis, ultimately losing her life. Her parents, Miri Pins and Israel Dokraker, spoke at the ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the mikveh as a sacred place that continues Kim's legacy of giving life and spreading light. Miri Pins said, "The values she spread continue to illuminate us all, and her memory connects people in a moving and respectful way." Israel Dokraker added, "Opening the mikveh on her birthday gives this moment great meaning. We miss her deeply, and she is with us in our hearts every day."

The memorial run and mikveh dedication transformed what would have been a day of celebration into one of remembrance, honoring Kim Dokraker's sacrifice and enduring impact on her community and fellow officers.
