Roy Navi Set to Join Ukrainian Club Kryvbas After Loan Spells in Israel
Roy Navi, an Israeli midfielder who spent the past two seasons on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva and Hapoel Haifa, is poised to become a foreign league player in Europe. Although Navi hoped to return to Maccabi Tel Aviv this summer, he was not included in the squad for the club's training camp and is expected to leave the team. Later today, Navi is set to sign with Ukrainian club Kryvbas, which recently exercised its option to acquire Israeli midfielder Bar Lin for 250,000 euros from Maccabi Tel Aviv. Kryvbas is coached by Patrick van Leeuwen, who previously managed Maccabi Tel Aviv. This move marks Navi's first permanent transfer abroad after his loan periods in Israel.
