Jan Diomande Chooses PSG in Over 100 Million Euro Transfer After World Cup

Jan Diomande, the highly sought-after 19-year-old Ivorian forward currently playing for RB Leipzig, has decided to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) following the World Cup. Diomande, a key player for the Ivory Coast national team, attracted massive interest from top European clubs, including Liverpool, which reportedly offered 100 million euros for his transfer. However, RB Leipzig held out for around 130 million euros, rejecting previous bids.

According to transfer journalist David Ornstein, Diomande is convinced by PSG's project and is eager to play under coach Luis Enrique. Although the exact transfer fee has not been officially disclosed, it is expected to exceed 100 million euros, marking one of the biggest deals in world football.

Currently competing in the World Cup in the United States, Diomande is preparing for Ivory Coast's upcoming round of 32 match against Norway. This season, he has demonstrated his versatility in attack by scoring 12 goals and providing 9 assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig.
