Strategist Moshe Klughaft Confirms Advising Religious Zionism Party While Continuing as Commentator

Moshe Klughaft, a political commentator and strategic advisor, confirmed on Channel 12 that he provided paid research and advisory services to the Religious Zionism party several months ago. Despite reports on Channel 13 revealing that during this period he spoke positively about the party's leader, Bezalel Smotrich, without disclosing his business ties, Klughaft continues to appear as a commentator on television.

During his recent appearance, Klughaft acknowledged the report, stating, "I am not here as a ballet dancer, I am an advisor, I conduct research for all parties constantly." He added that he would not work with the party this year, saying, "Out of an abundance of caution, I will not work with them this year."

The Channel 13 report detailed that Klughaft’s paid services included comprehensive political research and advice for Religious Zionism. He praised Smotrich’s performance as Finance Minister, citing the strengthening shekel, rising stock market, and efforts against the black market.

Klughaft clarified that he does not advise election candidates directly but conducts in-depth research for various parties and commercial entities. He noted that in 2025, his firm conducted research for over ten parties across the political spectrum and that in the 2026 election year, his work was conducted abroad with no research done in Israel.
