Maccabi Haifa Defender Lisav Eissat Draws Interest From Germany and Romania
Maccabi Haifa and Romania defender Lisav Eissat is attracting attention from several European clubs after a breakout season in green, with Schalke 04, the newly promoted Bundesliga side, among the interested teams. Romanian reports say top clubs in Romania are also monitoring the center back, but people around him say he wants to move to stronger leagues.
Eissat signed a new contract with Maccabi Haifa a few months ago, and it includes a release clause of 2.5 million euros. Haifa want him to stay for at least another season after he established himself as a leading defender.
