Inter Reportedly Joins Race for Israeli Winger Anan Khalaili

Italian reports on Friday said Inter have entered the picture for Anan Khalaili, as his move from Union Saint-Gilloise to Napoli remains stalled. Journalist Luca Cerchione wrote that, in the morning, Inter asked Union Saint-Gilloise for information about the Israeli wing-back.

The transfer has been bogged down for weeks by a gap in the asking price. According to Alfredo Pedulla, the Belgian club values Khalaili at about 25 million euros, while Napoli are not prepared at this stage to pay that amount.

Napoli, the Serie A runners-up, are trying to strengthen on the right flank ahead of next season, and the position is a priority. Because of that, the club is also weighing alternatives.

One option is Dodo of Fiorentina, who is entering the final year of his contract and could be available for less. Pedulla said Napoli still prefer Khalaili because of his age and upside, but Dodo’s roughly 15 million euro valuation could influence the final decision.
