Iran reports fire at petrochemical plant after recent strikes

Iran's state broadcaster reported that a fire broke out at the Karun petrochemical plant in Mahshahr during waste-removal operations tied to the recent attacks on facilities in the area. Fire crews brought the blaze under control and extinguished it.

According to the Iranian report, the facility had been attacked by Israel about three weeks ago. The report did not say whether anyone was hurt or provide details about the extent of any damage at the plant.
