EuroLeague unveils first-ever Super Cup and 2026/27 calendar
EuroLeague has announced its 2026/27 schedule and, for the first time, will add a new preseason title called the Super Cup. According to BasketNews, the planned four-team event will feature Olympiacos, the reigning EuroLeague champion, Fenerbahce, last season's champion, and Real Madrid, the runner-up, plus a fourth club still to be determined.
The Super Cup is set for September 18 and 19, 2026. The regular season will begin just six days later, on September 24 and 25. EuroLeague also confirmed an early double round in the second week of the competition, with two rounds scheduled from September 29 to October 2.
During the November FIBA window, Round 14 will be played, but the league will stop for the February FIBA window. No games will be held between February 12 and March 4, covering the gap between Rounds 28 and 29.
The playoffs are scheduled to start on April 27 and run until May 12. The Final Four will take place from May 27 to May 30.
