EuroLeague unveils 2026-27 calendar and launches first-ever Super Cup
EuroLeague has released its 2026-27 schedule and, for the first time, will add a new preseason competition called the Super Cup. The tournament is set for September 18 and 19, ahead of the new season.
According to BasketNews, the expected teams are Olympiacos, the reigning EuroLeague champion, Fenerbahce, last season's champion, and Real Madrid, the EuroLeague runner-up, plus a fourth team that has not yet been identified.
The 2026-27 regular season will begin on September 24 and 25, just six days after the Super Cup final. The league will already have a double-round week in its second week, with two rounds scheduled from September 29 to October 2.
EuroLeague also set its breaks around FIBA windows. Round 14 will be played during the November window, while the competition will pause during the February window, with no games between February 12 and March 4, covering the gap between rounds 28 and 29.
The playoffs are scheduled to start on April 27 and run until May 12, and the Final Four will take place from May 27 to 30.
