Militant Who Shot and Seriously Wounded IDF Soldier in Mount Hebron Arrested
Israeli forces arrested the militant who shot at troops in Dahariya in the Mount Hebron area about two weeks ago, seriously wounding an IDF soldier. The arrest was carried out this week during operations in Judea and Samaria.
The arrest came alongside a broader week of counterterror activity across the Judea and Samaria Division. According to the report, more than 110 wanted suspects were detained in the past week, including arms dealers, Hamas operatives, people found in possession of weapons, and attackers who threw stones and firebombs.
In a separate special operation by the Duvdevan unit, forces killed a militant who was trafficking weapons. During the week, troops also seized more than 10 weapons, including pistols and improvised Carlo and M16-type firearms. They confiscated weapon parts, military gear, incitement materials, and large quantities of ammunition.
Forces also found and seized seven drones, which were apparently used for terror activity. The military said the week’s operations were part of an ongoing campaign against terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
