Sharon Adam Says Her Sons Drove Their Own Religious Growth
In a special interview with Haneh Katan on Channel 7, set to air in the coming days, Sharon Adam described the spiritual journey of her sons, singers Omer, Roee and Gal Adam. The media personality and mentor stressed that their move toward greater observance came from them, not from her.
Adam said her home regularly hosts Torah lessons, with her sons bringing in a rabbi for sessions that happen often. She said Omer observes Shabbat, frequently wears tzitzit, and puts on tefillin every day, and that Roee and Gal do the same. “It did not come from me, it came from them. They are stronger than me,” she said.
Adam added that she herself does not yet fully keep Shabbat, but said the day has become a source of calm and peace for her. She also said that in her work she interviews well-known figures about the changes in their lives and personal growth, adding, “I bring a lot of people back to calm and peace.”
She also spoke about a 90-second video Omer published about Shabbat, saying it was translated into several languages and circulated outside Israel. According to Adam, it reached the United States in English and France in French, and Omer was presented, along with a list of major rabbis, as an influencer of young people to keep Shabbat.
