Ofer Yannay Gives Hapoel Tel Aviv Players €50,000 Watches After Season
Hapoel Tel Aviv owner Ofer Yannay rewarded the team at its end-of-season dinner with luxury watches, even though the club finished the year empty-handed after losing the final to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Each player received an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch valued at about 50,000 euros.
The gift matched a promise Yannay had reportedly made weeks earlier in Serbia, where local reports said he would present the watches at season’s end. He followed through at the team meal for the Reds.
Yannay also said that the coaching staff will receive the same model as well. The report was published on June 25, 2026, at 22:05.
