Netanyahu Says Israel Still Has More to Do Against Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Thursday evening at the graduation ceremony for the 75th officers’ course at Bahad 1. In remarks delivered amid tensions and talks between the United States and Iran on a final agreement, he said Israel still has unfinished business on several fronts.
“There are still missions to carry out, there are still things to do against Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. They do not have much ability to act,” Netanyahu said. He added, “There is also what to do against Hezbollah’s explosive drones, and we are working on it with full force.”
Netanyahu also said, “We have fundamentally changed the rules of the game in our region. We have broken through the barrier of fear with initiative and aggressiveness.” He concluded with a biblical reference, saying, “In the wild space in which we are rooted, one ancient truth resounds clearly, ‘If someone comes to kill you, rise early and kill him first.’”
