Maccabi Netanya began training on Wednesday, presenting its two new signings, Gregory Morozov and Dor Hugi, to the squad. The club is starting pre-season with visible squad turnover as it prepares for the coming campaign.
At the same time, two foreign players, Pedrinho and Junior Diomande, did not show up at the club's Sport 5 complex after being informed they are not part of the team's plans. Another foreign player, Henry Tabarsh, reported for training, but his future is also uncertain.
Tabarsh is highly valued in Netanya, which exercised its option on him after he was one of the team's standout players this season. Even so, he had already told teammates at the end of last season that he was considering leaving, and the club now hopes he will stay and continue contributing.
Midfielder Joao Kadah has been loaned to Hapoel Ra'anana, while other players, including Aviv Kanrik, were told they are free to seek new clubs.
