Billionaire businessman Eyal Waldman, 65, said in an interview on Omri Assenheim’s new program on Reshet 13 that he has a prenuptial agreement with his current partner, Maya, a Pilates instructor 44 years younger than him. He said the decision came from past experience, and that he also insists his children sign similar agreements.
Waldman told Assenheim, after the host called the idea “the most unromantic thing in the world,” that “I require my children that if they are with a partner for more than three months, he or she must sign a prenuptial agreement.” He added, “There is no discomfort. It is the most logical thing. It is the natural thing to do.”
He also said he has included the condition in his will: “In my will, I put that all my descendants cannot be part of the inheritance if they have partners and no prenuptial agreement, they do not get the will.”
Waldman was married to Ella for more than 20 years, and they had three children. His daughter Daniel and her partner Noam Shai were murdered at the Nova festival massacre in Re’im on October 7. After his divorce from Ella, Waldman was in a relationship with Shlomit Paan, and after they split, the two were involved in a long legal dispute that included mutual complaints. Paan filed a police complaint accusing him of violence, but it was eventually closed for lack of culpability.
