IDF and Shin Bet Kill Arms Dealer Who Helped Gunman Wound Two Soldiers
Israeli forces killed Muhammad Zaid today in the village of Yamun, in the Menashe Brigade area, after a joint operation by Duvdevan fighters and the Shin Bet. Zaid was described as an arms dealer who supplied a weapon to the attacker who later shot and seriously wounded two IDF soldiers in 2025.
According to the report, Zaid had been hiding in several houses around the village. When the security forces tried to arrest him, he attempted to flee and was considered a threat to the troops.
The operation ended with Zaid being killed at the scene. The IDF and Shin Bet had been working in recent periods to capture him, after he had been evading arrest for a long time.
