Samaria District Police have arrested a northern resident who previously held public office, on suspicion of incitement to terrorism at a public rally in 2022.
According to the suspicion, during a speech he delivered at the rally, praise and expressions of solidarity were voiced for terrorists and terrorist organizations, along with calls to struggle against Israel.
After a complaint was received and the prosecution approved the move, an investigation was opened. The suspect was transferred for questioning by the Samaria District’s YALP investigative unit.
