Rabbi Simcha Eckstein is leaving the headship of the Kfar Maimon Yeshiva after 17 years of service. In the past, Rabbi Eckstein served as a maggid shiur at the Sderot Yeshiva, and he is the son of Rabbi Shmuel Eckstein, the head of the high school yeshiva in Sha'alvim.
Rabbi Eckstein told Channel 7, "It is a tremendous privilege to be involved in education during the teenage years, growing together with the students, in good character traits and in love of Israel. In light of the saying, 'to warn the adults concerning the young' , from the language of the Zohar, those involved in education merit to illuminate through the power of educational work," the rabbi concluded. Following the announcement of his departure, the yeshiva published a tender in recent days to find his replacement.
