EA FC 26 has launched special World Cup 2026 cards under its “Path To Glory” promotion, giving players boosted versions that can improve depending on their national teams’ results. The cards include two names tied to Israeli football, former Maccabi Haifa striker Frantzdy Pierrot and Ironi Kiryat Shmona midfielder Christian Martinez.
Pierrot, who plays for Haiti, received a highly rated 92 overall card, compared with his 72 base card. His special version comes with 93 pace, shooting and physicality, 92 passing and 91 dribbling, plus three special traits, curved shot, quickness and improved heading. Because Haiti are already out of contention, his card will not get major further upgrades, but it still became one of the game’s standout items.
The article notes that Pierrot’s card was already a global hit earlier in the season, when it could be upgraded to 83 through in-game currency or objectives. American YouTuber ZwebackHD, who has more than one million subscribers, said: “I had to wait 4 days to get him.” He also said, “He is 1.94 meters tall, and one of only 7 players in the entire game with two special traits. I turned him from a 72 card into a cheat code, he carries my team.”
Martinez, who plays for Panama and is listed as a central midfielder for Kiryat Shmona, also got a 92-rated special card. EA FC 26 gives him right-winger positioning, though he can also play in midfield. His card features 95 dribbling, 94 passing, 93 pace, 92 physicality, 90 shooting and 80 defending, along with three special traits, pace, low-driven shots and through balls. He also received a 5-star weak foot rating. Both cards are selling for about 12,000 to 13,000 virtual coins on the game’s market, close to the minimum price for a special card.
