EA FC 26 has released special World Cup 2026 cards under its “Path To Glory” promotion, giving selected players much higher ratings than their base versions and the chance to improve further as their national teams advance. The cards reward group-stage wins and knockout-round progression. Among the featured players are two with ties to the Israeli league, former Maccabi Haifa striker Frantzdy Pierrot and Ironi Kiryat Shmona midfielder Christian Martínez.
Pierrot, who plays for Haiti, received an especially strong special card rated 92 out of 99, even though Haiti no longer has a path to meaningful upgrades. His base card was rated 72. The new version includes 93 pace, shooting and physicality, 92 passing and 91 dribbling, plus three special abilities, curved shot, improved agility and enhanced heading. The article notes that Pierrot’s card became a global hit earlier in the season, when a YouTube creator described turning his 72-rated card into a “cheat code.”
Martínez, a Panama international who plays as a central midfielder for Kiryat Shmona, also received a 92-rated special card. EA FC 26 lists him as a right winger, though he can also play centrally. His card features 95 dribbling, 94 passing, 93 pace, 92 physicality, 90 shooting and 80 defending, along with three special abilities, pace, low-driven shots and through balls. He also has a 5-star weak foot with his left foot.
The two cards are selling on the game’s online market for about 12,000 to 13,000 virtual coins each, close to the minimum price for a special card. The article was published on June 23, 2026, shortly after the World Cup got underway.
