Australian actor Nathan Buzolic may be forced to miss the next episode of "Dancing with the Stars" on Keshet 12 after injuring himself in rehearsals. The production says the injury happened during practice for the episode scheduled to air Wednesday, June 26, 2026, and medical staff advised him to rest and temporarily stop rehearsing to recover.
Buzolic, who came to Israel specifically to compete on the show, is currently planning to stay in the competition. However, there is still uncertainty over whether he and his dance partner, Julia Shaar, will be able to appear in the next live performance.
The show's international format allows a contestant to miss one dance during the season, so if Buzolic is unable to perform next time, he would still be within the rules. For now, he is expected to take part in the upcoming broadcasts, but his participation in the next taping remains in doubt.
This is the second injury-related setback of the season. Just one day earlier, Shahar Hayun withdrew from the competition after tearing a muscle, having managed to dance only once. Hayun said the decision was difficult, adding, "It is complicated and too early. I started by denying it and wanted to continue."
