Solomon Madmon Convicted of Aggravated Murder of His Daughter-in-Law’s Father in Ramat Gan
The Tel Aviv District Court convicted Solomon Madmon of the aggravated murder of Yossi Yosfia, 63, the father of his daughter-in-law, in Ramat Gan about four years ago. The judges found that Madmon could not accept his daughter-in-law’s decision to separate from his son.
According to the verdict, Madmon arrived at Yosfia’s apartment building armed with a pistol and shot him dead in front of a neighbor and near members of the family. The court said the killing took place in a residential setting and was carried out with a firearm.
In its ruling, the panel stated: “We heard all the evidence and the defendant’s version and came to the conclusion that we convict him of all the offenses, murder under aggravated circumstances, weapons offenses and threats.” The conviction covers both the homicide and additional charges tied to the gun and threats.
