Gur Hasid Perfects a Spot-On Pinky Weber Impersonation

A particularly amusing clip circulating in recent days on social media and in Haredi WhatsApp groups has drawn considerable attention in the world of Hasidic music: a Gur Hasid named Yisrael Meir Friedberg, who has become the latest sensation thanks to an astonishingly accurate impersonation of the renowned granner and legendary composer from the United States, R. Pinchas Mordechai, Pinky, Weber.

Friedberg does not miss a single detail, from Weber's distinctive style of dress, to Pinky's familiar hand gestures when delivering a grammen, to the unmistakable hallmark, the long side curls carefully rolled behind the ear, בדיוק כמו אצל בעל המנגן הנודע מעבר לים.
