Roei Prizki Takes Scary Fall After Dunk Attempt, Bleeds in Upper Galilee Game
Roei Prizki, a player for Hapoel Galil Elyon, suffered a frightening head injury during the season finale in Kfar Blum on June 22, 2026. In the second quarter of the game against Elitzur Netanya, he raced out on a fast break and went up for a dunk, but slipped off the rim on the way down and slammed his head into the floor.
The impact caused bleeding from his head and forced the game to stop. Despite the hard collision, Prizki got up on his own and walked off the court without assistance.
The incident came shortly after Prizki joined Galil Elyon from Hapoel Jerusalem. He had also been an important contributor in helping the northern club remain in the Israeli Basketball Premier League at Kfar Blum.
